We start by mechanically grinding the concrete to remove contaminants and create the proper profile for strong adhesion. A well prepared surface is essential for a quartz flooring system that lasts for years.
Next we apply a moisture vapor barrier prime coat. This step strengthens adhesion, helps control moisture, and creates a uniform surface ready for the quartz broadcast layers.
We broadcast the first layer of flakes, then apply a layer of polyaspartic and then add a second layer of broadcast. This creates a thicker floor system with improved durability, traction, and consistent appearance.
We finish by applying another layer of polyaspartic top coat to lock in the broadcast and create a seamless surface. We also add an anti-slip additive to the clear coat for extra traction at no additional cost.
