At Luxe Pro Finish, we help bring new life to older commercial spaces through proper surface preparation and finishing. Recently, we completed a grind and seal project in West Bloomfield, Michigan, for a commercial unit that had been occupied by a dental office for over 30 years. After the previous tenant moved out, the space required significant updating to prepare it for its next use. Our team was brought in to remove years of buildup and restore the concrete to a clean, functional, and visually appealing surface.

Project Highlights

This project involved removing heavy mastic glue and adhesive residue left behind from the previous flooring. We thoroughly ground the concrete to eliminate contaminants and create a smooth, consistent surface. From there, we achieved a natural salt and pepper aggregate look and applied a high quality grind and seal system that delivered a clean, semi gloss finish. The transformation helped modernize the space and prepare it for its next phase.

Why Grind and Seal Was the Right Solution

Grinding and sealing concrete is a practical solution for commercial spaces that need a clean, updated look without the cost of full polishing. It allows us to remove years of buildup, level the surface, and enhance the natural appearance of the concrete. The sealed finish provides protection against stains, moisture, and daily wear, while remaining easy to maintain. This makes it a strong choice for offices, retail spaces, and commercial units undergoing renovation.
